Business Platform for the

Fourth Sino-German Environment Forum

Building on the success of the Third Environment Forum in Foshan in 2009, Zhou Jian, Vice Minister of the Chinese Ministry of Environmental Protection (MEP), and Jürgen Becker, State Secretary at the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety, will meet for the Fourth Sino-German Environment Forum in Berlin on 25 January 2013.

The title of this year’s forum is Policy and Business Perspectives for a Green Economy. The event will look in particular at opportunities and cooperative approaches for achieving sustainable economic development. The focus this year will be on environmental services, eco-labelling, soil conservation, resource efficiency, circular economy and water/wastewater management. Possible solutions and areas of cooperation will be discussed by leading experts from the government, research institutions and the private sector from both China and Germany.

As part of the Fourth Sino-German Environment Forum, companies will be offered the opportunity to create a business profile to present themselves to potential customers from the chinese side.

We would therefore ask you to register on the platform and submit the form as soon as possible. Please complete your business profile in English and send it in no later than 16 January 2013.
